Job Overview

As the AVP - Human Resources at Salad Days, you will be a strategic partner to the leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing the company’s people strategy. You will lead the full spectrum of HR functions including Talent Acquisition, Retention, Employee Lifecycle Management, and Learning & Development. The role demands a balance of strategic foresight and hands-on execution.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Talent Acquisition & Retention: Lead recruitment efforts, build a strong candidate pipeline, and implement retention strategies.
  2. Performance Management & Rewards: Design incentive programs, manage recognition initiatives, and drive a high-performance culture.
  3. Policy Development: Develop and review HR policies on behaviour, inclusion, compliance, and wellness to meet organisational needs.
  4. Payroll & Compliance: Ensure accurate payroll processing via HRMS, and make sure Salad Days is compliant with all labour laws.
  5. Appraisals & Succession Planning: Oversee evaluations, develop fair appraisal policies, and support leadership in employee development.
  6. Learning & Development: Champion a culture of continuous learning through structured development programs and on-the-job learning initiatives.
  7. HR Operations & Reporting: Maintain HR records, track key metrics, and provide reports for financial planning.
  8. Employee Engagement: Plan and manage employee engagement activities to foster a positive workplace culture.

Requirements

  1. Master’s/HR certifications required.
  2. Excellent subject matter knowledge in Human Resources.
  3. 10+ years of HR experience with 5+ in senior leadership.
  4. Proven expertise in HR Ops, TA, and L&D.
  5. Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  6. Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  1. This is a full-time on-site role at the Salad Days Corporate Office located in Udyog Vihar, Gurugram.
  2. Salad Days Corporate office operates for six days in a week.
