Job Summary
We are seeking a Data Engineer to build and manage the company's data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will develop data pipelines, maintain data warehouses/lakes, create dashboards, and enable teams to make faster, data-backed decisions. This role requires strong technical capabilities, business understanding, and the ability to work across multiple functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build ETL/ELT pipelines to automate data flow from APIs, databases, third-party tools, and operational systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouses and data lakes.
- Create dashboards, reports, and automated insight systems for business stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and reliability across all data systems.
- Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Leadership teams to solve business problems through data.
- Optimize data architecture, workflows, and reporting processes for efficiency and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience with databases, data modeling, and data pipeline development.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with modern data tools and workflow automation platforms.
- Knowledge of AI tools, LLMs, AI agents, and their business applications.
- Ability to identify and implement AI-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to business intelligence and dashboarding tools.
- Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
- Interest in leveraging AI for business optimization.
